Accounts Payable Manager / HR Assistant

Pam graduated from the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center Dental Assisting program in 2014. She served as our Financial Coordinator in our Ephrata office for about a year and was able to create meaningful relationships with our patients, guide them through their treatment process and help them achieve their dental goals. Her attention to detail and love of numbers made her the perfect choice for our Accounts Payable Manager/HR Assistant. Pam works diligently behind the scenes to ensure that the day-to-day bookkeeping is in order for both of our practices. She also works to maintain proper HR legal compliance and support our employees’ experiences across the organization.

In her free time, Pam enjoys hiking, watching documentaries, spending time with family and friends, and visiting her second home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Unless however, it’s football season, then you will find her cheering on her favorite Nittany Lions in Happy Valley! WE ARE…PENN STATE!

Office Manager

Sarah studied at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine Dental Hygiene Program where she earned a bachelor’s degree and a Dental Hygiene Certificate. She has been in the dental field for 8 years and has attained a wide range of experience; from implementing effective systems at a growing practice to mastering the highest level of customer service at a boutique practice in Pittsburgh. Sarah believes the best part about her job is getting to work with and meet so many interesting people!

Sarah and her husband just moved to Lancaster from Pittsburgh, where they resided for the past 10 years. They were sad to leave their life in Pittsburgh behind, but they were ready to be back in the 717-area code where they both grew up! They have missed the Pennsylvania Dutch country’s hospitality and the unique activities and sites available in the area.

In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Izzy the Goldendoodle. She loves to travel to new places, work out, try new restaurants and engage in friendly competition on game night. She is very happy to be joining the team at Mor Smiles and is looking forward to the year ahead!

Treatment Coordinator

Angela, or Ang as we like to call her, is a 2007 graduate from Penn Manor High school. She went on to attend York Technical Institute in 2007 and received her dental assisting certificate. Ang loves spending quality time with her family and friends whenever she can, and she especially loves spoiling her two nieces, Kinley and Avery! She is also a cat lover and showers her fur baby, Sassy, with lots of love. You will find her at her family’s beach house in Bethany Beach during the summer months and in the fall, you will most likely find her in Happy Valley cheering on the Nittany Lions in Beaver Stadium! Certified Dental Assistant

Nicole (aka Nikki) grew up in Locust Gap, PA and attended Mount Carmel Area Jr/Sr High School. Mount Carmel is a borough in Northumberland County, located in the Coal Heritage Region of Central Pennsylvania’s Susquehanna River Valley. Fun fact…Mount Carmel was among the first towns in the country to have its streets lit by electricity. Thomas Edison placed one of his first generator plants there in 1883.

Nikki then attended York Technical Institute (YTI) in 2010 and received her certificate in Dental Assisting. She worked in pediatric dentistry for eight years and then decided to take a little break from the dental world. She was very excited to get back into dentistry and joined our practice in October of 2019. Nikki is passionate about learning as much as she can about general dentistry and helping our patients feel comfortable while visiting our practice. She works to create relationships with her patients and provides them with individualized care based on their specific needs.

Nikki also works in the restaurant industry and has been a server and bartender for the last twelve years. She was fortunate enough to meet her boyfriend at the restaurant where they currently work. Nikki enjoys providing the best dining experience to her guests and she is a huge “foodie”. In her free time, you will find her cooking and creating mouthwatering dishes in her own kitchen.

A quote that resonates with Nikki is, “It’s not what I have in my life, but who I have in my life that counts.” Family and friends mean everything to her and she loves spending quality time with them. She also enjoys discovering new restaurants in the area and searching out venues offering live music. She is a huge people person and absolutely loves to make people laugh.

Before After

Meet Gretchen

Gretchen was told by her last Dentist that she should have all her teeth pulled and replaced with dentures. Her mother had dentures and she couldn’t even imagine not having her own teeth. She knew she was going to need a lot of work if she wanted to keep her teeth and wanted to do as few appointments as possible. Dr. Moriarty suggested IV sedation and Gretchen agreed that this was her best option. She couldn’t believe how easy the appointments were and wished she would have started the process sooner.

Before After

Meet LuAnn

LuAnn was wearing a complete lower denture. She was disappointed that it no longer fit and was having trouble eating. She decided to have dental implants placed and have teeth anchored to the implants so she would not have to remove them. She loves her new lower teeth so much that she is ready to replace the upper teeth with new crowns that will match the bottom.

Meet Adam

Adam was concerned about the infection in his mouth. He felt his overall health was suffering and had consulted with his medical Doctor too. Liz is now very confident with her new smile and is no longer fearful of dentistry.

Before After

Meet Iris

Iris suffered from a chronic condition that kept her isolated in her home for years. She sent an email to the office expressing how embarrassed and afraid she was to come in for care. Dr. Moriarty assured her that he would help her and his office was judgment free. Iris knew she needed a lot of work and would only consent to treatment if she could be sedated. After her initial consultation appointment, she was scheduled to get started. All of her treatment was completed in two visits under IV sedation. She is so grateful to Dr. Moriarty, not only did he change her smile, he changed her life!

Meet Jen

Jen was frustrated with her teeth. She felt like she had a cavity every time she went to the Dentist. Jen had a lot of cavities filled throughout her young life, but the fillings didn’t seem to match her teeth very well and she felt like everyone stared at her smile. She decided that she wanted a longer lasting fix for her smile. Porcelain veneers were the answer. Jen had ten veneers placed on her upper front teeth and her new smile was an instant boost in her self-confidence!

Before After

Meet Jo

Jo wanted straight teeth all of her life. When she was an adult she decided to look at her options to correct her crooked smile. Of course, braces were suggested, but, she just couldn’t see herself with brace at this point in her life and really wanted faster results. Dr. Moriarty suggested porcelain veneers. Jo liked the idea of an instant result and in two visits she left with a gorgeous new smile.

Meet Sue

Meet Darlene

Darlene called the office at 9:00 am on a Wednesday morning. She hadn’t been to the dentist in 10 years and her front tooth broke. She was embarrassed and needed help immediately. She came to the office an hour later and left smiling. Darlene started the process of fixed bridge work, teeth that she brushes in her mouth. She knows she has other needs and vows that she will never miss a checkup appointment again!

Before After

Meet Pamela

Pamela had beautiful porcelain crowns done years ago and has been very diligent about keeping her smile healthy. Surprisingly, she began having issues with her crown, it was loose and caused an unpleasant taste in her mouth. After a consultation, it was determined that the root of the tooth could not be saved. Pamela was given three options to replace her front tooth and she choose an implant. The root was removed and the implant was placed the same day. After a few months of healing the final restoration was completed. The results were outstanding. Pamela is positive she made the right choice to replace her tooth with an implant.
